Terms of Service

The rules of using Authority Engine

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Who this is between

These terms are an agreement between you (the operator using a workspace) and The Coaching Dept ("we"), the company that operates Authority Engine. By signing in, you agree to these terms.

What you get

A voice-first content tool. You record short interviews; we transcribe them, generate marketing content drafts in your voice, suggest photos, and let you schedule posts to connected channels. Specific features and limits depend on your tier (Standard, Pro, or Agency).

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your workspace credentials private. You will not share login access with anyone outside your team. If a teammate needs access, use a paid team seat when that feature ships. You will tell us promptly about any unauthorized access.

What you can and can't do

  • You can use Authority Engine for any lawful business marketing purpose.
  • You will not use it to generate content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes third-party rights.
  • You will not upload photos you don't have the right to use, including copyrighted images, photos of people without permission, or anything obscene.
  • You will not use the system to mass-spam contacts, send unsolicited commercial messages in violation of TCPA / CAN-SPAM / CASL / GDPR, or otherwise abuse the messaging integrations.
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service outside your Agency-tier reseller rights (if applicable).

Your content

You own your interviews, drafts, voices, and photos. By using Authority Engine, you grant us a limited license to process them solely to operate the service for you (run AI on them, store them, serve them back to your account). We do not claim any ownership over your content and we do not use it to train third-party AI models.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Fluid Pay. You can cancel at any time by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period. Add-ons (voice slots, team seats) bill monthly in addition to your base tier. A declined card moves your subscription to past-due; we retry once and then suspend access if it stays declined.

Third-party services

Authority Engine integrates with Anthropic, OpenAI, GoHighLevel, Fluid Pay, Dropbox, Google Drive, and other platforms you choose to connect. Those platforms have their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or behavior of third-party services. If a third-party integration changes its API or pricing, we may need to adapt or deprecate features in response.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Anthropic, OpenAI, GoHighLevel, etc.), and unusual events may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Authority Engine is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

Termination

You can stop using the service and request workspace deletion at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or fail to pay. After termination we will delete your workspace data within 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via email to your workspace owner before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
